Building directly on its relay success, EP Group introduced Weidmüller power supply units (PSU) to the GCC in 2020 — and pushed the partnership to a new level, reaching €700,000 in turnover.

Power supplies are foundational to modern automation and control systems, converting and conditioning power so that sensitive equipment runs reliably. Weidmüller’s PSU range is engineered for exactly the kind of continuous, demanding duty that industrial sites require.

Adding PSUs was a deliberate next step in EP Group’s plan to build out the full Weidmüller catalogue in the region, one carefully chosen product family at a time.

The €700,000 result — up on the prior year’s relay figure — showed that the formula was scaling. Each new category benefited from the trust, relationships, and technical reputation EP Group had already established.

For panel builders, OEMs, and integrators, the arrival of Weidmüller PSUs meant they could now source more of their bill of materials from a single, reliable partner, simplifying procurement and improving consistency.

EP Group again paired the launch with the support that sets it apart: helping customers specify the right units, holding stock locally, and ensuring on-time delivery aligned to project schedules.

The PSU line also deepened EP Group’s value to Weidmüller, reinforcing its role as the brand’s growth engine in the Gulf and proving that the relay success had been no one-off.

With relays and power supplies now firmly established, EP Group stood within reach of offering Weidmüller’s complete portfolio across the GCC — the milestone that would define the partnership’s next chapter.
