WHO WE ARE

A regional partner, an international group

Enara Power is an authorized Schneider Electric distributor serving Ethiopia and East Africa from a base in Addis Ababa. We bring internationally standardised electrical product to the region, supported by local stock, technical knowledge and documentation, so that regional projects can be built to the same standard as anywhere in the world.

We are part of the EP Group of Companies, operating under the philosophy of “Enabling Power”. The group brings together complementary businesses across the electrical value chain, and Enara Power represents its presence and commitment in the East African market. That backing gives us sourcing strength, technical depth and a shared discipline around genuine, documented product.

Our purpose is straightforward: to be the partner regional customers can rely on for authorized electrical supply. That means more than selling product. It means helping specify it correctly, supplying it genuine, delivering it on time, and standing behind it with documentation and support long after the sale.

The name Enara Power reflects that intent. As part of a group built around the idea of “Enabling Power”, our contribution is to enable it specifically for East Africa, removing the friction of long lead times, uncertain authenticity and thin local support that has too often stood between regional projects and the quality of product they need. We want customers here to have the same access, assurance and backing that they would expect in any mature electrical market.

OUR MARKET

Committed to Ethiopia and East Africa

East Africa is one of the most dynamic markets for electrical infrastructure today, with growing demand across utilities, industry, commercial buildings and agro-processing. Enara Power was established to serve this market with the genuine, internationally standardised product it deserves, supplied through an authorized channel that customers can trust.

From our base in Addis Ababa, we work with contractors, panel builders, developers and facility owners to supply the right Schneider Electric product, backed by the strength of the wider EP Group. We understand the practical realities of delivering electrical projects in the region, from import lead times to inspection requirements, and we shape our service around them.

Our ambition is simple: to be the region’s most trusted source of authorized electrical product. We measure ourselves not just on what we sell, but on whether our customers can build safer, more reliable and more efficient installations because they worked with us.

Committed to Ethiopia and East Africa
WHY IT MATTERS HERE

Why an authorized distributor matters in East Africa

Rapid growth in demand for electrical product has, across many emerging markets, drawn counterfeit and grey-market goods into supply chains, and East Africa is no exception. Product that looks genuine but is not can fail to perform, void warranties, and put installations and people at risk, often without any warning until something goes wrong. An authorized distributor is the most reliable line of defence against that risk.

When you buy through Enara Power, the product is genuine, sourced through authorized channels, backed by manufacturer warranty, and supplied with documentation you can verify. For safety-critical items such as protective devices and switchgear, that assurance is not a nicety; it is fundamental to whether an installation is safe and compliant.

An authorized distributor also brings continuity and accountability. Rather than chasing product through informal channels with no recourse, customers deal with a named, present partner who stands behind what is supplied and remains available for support, spares and expansion. In a market building so much new infrastructure, that accountability is worth a great deal.

PROJECT SUPPORT

From enquiry to handover, and beyond

Most of our work begins with a conversation about what a project actually needs. From there we help specify the right product, confirm availability and lead times, consolidate the requirement into a manageable supply package, and deliver it to suit the site programme, complete with the documentation that approval and handover require.

Our involvement does not end at delivery. We remain available for technical questions during installation and commissioning, for documentation when an inspector asks for it, and for genuine spares and matching components as a facility is maintained and expanded over the years. That long-term presence, backed by the EP Group, is what we mean when we describe ourselves as a supply partner rather than simply a supplier.

We would always rather understand a project properly than simply quote against a list. A short conversation about the application, the environment and the standards involved often surfaces a better, safer or more cost-effective option than the original request, and it is exactly the kind of input a good distributor should offer. If you are planning work anywhere in Ethiopia or East Africa, we would welcome the opportunity to help you get the electrical supply right from the start.
